Early intervention and prevention-focused
Together with partners, we identify the earliest potential intervention points, where a new approach can improve outcomes, prevent future harm, and often deliver significant cost savings across the wider system.
Our priorities are to improve equality, expand opportunity, and create better lives. We back solutions with the potential to deliver this change - from digital innovation or policy change to system transformation or targeted interventions that address root causes and critical points of system failure.
Capital and capability
We take a flexible approach to investment, providing seed funding, growth support, and, where needed, investing upstream in research and development, including through our in-house expertise and resources.
Our agility and collaborative approach enable us to identify and laser focus on opportunities with the greatest opportunity for impact. This may involve funding deep, data-driven research to better understand a problem, developing new solutions, or convening system leaders, innovators, influencers and decision-makers to accelerate change.
Alongside our capability for direct capital investment, we look to work with investment partners who share a common mission or belief in a specific solution.
